Message Intercoolers solve every objection i have.

intercoolers vs plenum
high surface area vs low surface area
high velocity cool air vs sitting in a hot engine bay
set outside the engine bay mounted to insulating rubber vs bolted to a hot engine.


To fix the problem youd need to get some air (hood vent and ducting) then address the surface area issue (cut up plenum, weld intercooler core inside, and fins outside) and to optimize, isolate from the heat of the engine (heat barrier spacer)

Then i could see some practical gains. Barring at least some of that, no way.

And btw, touching the heat dispersant coating does not in any way indicate that the temperature inside the plenum is any different
